This month, we’ve rolled out exciting updates designed to help you increase sales, streamline shipping, and make it easier to get paid on the go. Let’s dive into these new features and how they can make a difference in your selling experience.
Encourage New Customers to Buy with Free Shipping for First-Time Buyers
Converting new users into loyal buyers is crucial for growing your business, and we’ve found that free shipping is one of the most powerful incentives to help make that happen. In fact, based on our surveys, buyers ask for cheaper shipping more than three times as often as any other request. That's a huge opportunity!
To make this benefit more accessible, Whatnot is trying out free shipping for first-time buyers on iOS (in U.S. Only)—up to $25 on their first purchases, whether that’s from your show or your store. That means new customers can join your show, confidently place their first bid, and enjoy their items without worrying about the shipping cost. This isn’t a small boost—shipping can be one of the top barriers to converting new buyers, and removing that hurdle could make the difference between a window shopper and a new repeat customer. This is in addition to the free referral credit Whatnot already offers first-time buyers.
The best part? It’s available immediately for iOS users in the US, with Android, Web, and International support coming soon.

Stripe Payouts Available on Mobile
Managing your cash flow is a key part of running a successful business, and we know how important it is for you to access your funds quickly and efficiently. That’s why we’re excited to share that mobile payouts via Stripe will soon be available directly in the Whatnot app. This feature, previously only accessible on Whatnot.com, will allow you to cash out your balance wherever you are—whether you’re at home, on the go, or in between shows.
Instead of waiting to log in on a desktop, you can transfer your Whatnot earnings to your bank account directly from your phone. Once your bank account is linked, simply request a payout, and you’ll typically see the funds in your account within 1–2 business days. No more waiting, no more hassle.
Here’s how to set it up:
On iOS: Navigate to your Seller Hub, tap “Payouts,” and follow the steps to link your account via Stripe Connect.
On Android: Tap your profile image, head to the “Selling” section in the menu, and link your account through Stripe Connect.
Soon, we're also adding the ability to cash out partially instead of cashing out your full balance, and you’ll also be able to see an ETA for when your funds will hit your bank account. This added flexibility lets you manage your finances anytime, anywhere, so you can focus on what you do best—growing your business.

Mobile Printing on Android is Live
Launched last month on iOS, thousands of sellers are now enjoying the convenience of printing their labels and packing slips from their phones, eliminating the need to be tied to a computer. We’re excited to share that mobile printing is now live for our Android users! Whether you’re shipping one item or fulfilling multiple orders, this feature helps streamline the packing process and keeps your operations moving smoothly.
This is a major win for sellers who want to keep things simple and efficient. Instead of toggling between devices or printing stations, everything you need is in your pocket. So whether you're shipping from home, your store, or even while you're on vacation, we've got you covered.
