High-quality listings are also essential for discovery. Using attributes like category, size, color, brand, and price helps buyers easily find what they’re looking for. These details also power Whatnot's search and recommendation engines, and with the new feature allowing buyers to filter by attributes and choose Buy-Now-Pay-Later options on items over $50, it's a great way to make your listings even more appealing.
Sleigh The Shipping Costs
One of the biggest hurdles for online shoppers is the cost of shipping. That’s why our third tip is to offer fully or partially subsidized shipping costs for your buyers. You can set default shipping settings from your profile or adjust them at the show level when creating new shows. Keep in mind that if you choose to offer Free or Reduced Shipping, you'll be responsible for any overage costs, but the benefits can be significant. Shows with free or reduced shipping are highlighted in the feed, and buyers can filter for "Free Shipping" shows. Sellers who used free shipping saw over a 100% return on their investment, with 20% more orders, 40% more GMV, and 40% more buyers. Our final piece of advice is to create a show where your buyers can not only shop for the things they need but also have fun doing it.
